Just finished reading your book Admiral Who. Very entertaining, looking for the sequel when I stumbled across this blog and found out it wasn't completed yet. I'm hooked so you'll have 1 guaranteed sale from me as soon as it's out (any time frame by chance?). Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteUp to 144k on the first draft of the sequel. I figure another 5k aught to do it and then it'll be expanding/trimming as it gets edited.
ReplyDeletePlus of course I need to write the sneak peak for book 3.
I figure a week or two to finish the sequel and at that point things just wait on the my editing partner who is also my brother. He's on the other side of the world right now, so we need to set up a time for yahoo voice chat conference so we can pound it out. Then assuming its not utter drek and the sneak peak is produced and edited, we'll put it up on amazon.
In short kind of nebulous. I have 1-4 weeks of writting left to do, for everything, depending on my day job and then I'm waiting on the brother.
It took us about 2 weeks of full time editing to produce Admiral Who?.
I mean I'd love to get it out by the end of September. But I'm not sure if that is realistic. I mean if the stars alligned, I'd be on a roll, done next week and then maybe 3 weeks part time with the brother and it'd be out the door.
Who can say? Its within striking distance though, and not languishing on the shelf anywhere waiting to be written!!!
