Sales Update

Sales are up to 455 month to date, and so that's about 200 so far this week.  Things are still rocking on the sales front.  At least in my opinion.  I'll give you the updated total for the week when the clock ticks over and I have them.

As for Admiral's Gambit, I'm up to around... 133k of words written right now.  I'm hoping to finish up the book in another 5k+ or so and then get started on the sneak peak for book 3.  Tentatively titled Admiral's Run.  Although that could be subject to change.  The alternate name for book three, An Admiral in Spite of Himself has been kicking around as a close second and the final vote tally isn't in yet.  Remember around here we have a very democratic process.  Everyone gets a vote and then my vote counts for more than all the other votes combined!  No autocracy here!

Not sure how this one will play out with my readers since no one has actually seen what I've written so far, as it concerns the 1st rough draft.  And by 1st draft I mean a really rough draft.  I've had people ask me before if english was my second language, okay well it was one person but still!  The comment definitely stuck with me.

Hopefully the brother will get around to taking a peak at it before too long and with the 2nd half (and most important half) of the editing team onboard we can get started in on the first editing pass.  But that could be in one week or four, who knows?  Certainly not me, the books earstwhile author and all around writing machine.  The brother has his own work/life and I can only impose so much.  Hey brother you don't mind sitting down for two weeks of 6-8 hour days so we can finish hammering out this book?  I'm sure it won't be a problem for you.... Not!

Anyway 50 hour weeks of regular work for me, 60 hour weeks!  Nothing can stop the production.  The response from my readers has been amazing.  At least to me, which is why I am bound and determined to put out the sequel as soon as possible.  It stalled out around 116k when I had to bear down and put the nose to the grindstone and put some money in the bank.  So while I know this may be too long for some of you, I am doing the best I can to put out a quality piece of work as fast as I can.

Also a couple of key characters had to go out of play due to the constraints of the original plot line.  I'm going to take another hard look at it and try to make sure the second book doesn't suffer too much from the various quirk in the plot.  I hope the response to Admiral's Gambit is as heartening as Admiral Who? has been.  But even if its only half as wonderful, I'll still be elated!

Maybe after I finish book two and three of my Spine Ward Sector's series, I'll pop back over and finish up my first book tentatively titles, Military Insect, its half done and just needs to be pushed over the finish line.

Anyway have a blast peeps!
